CoViD-19 LATEST UPDATE FOR OUR PATIENTS

Dear patients,

PLEASE NOTE:  ALL APPOINTMENTS ARE NOW CANCELLED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE

Due to the current situation with CoViD-19, it has become necessary for us to further reduce social contact, as recommended by the Prime Minister.

We are also following the most recent guidance set by our professional bodies, including NHS England and the British Dental Association.

If you are an existing patient at Glenfield Dental and have urgent dental needs, please note we have a telephone triage process in place.

Please call 0116 287 9608 and follow the instructions.

Thank you once again for your understanding and patience.

Sanjay and team.

IMPORTANT UPDATE: CoViD-19 23/03/2020

Latest NHS England & British Dental Association guidelines:

Dear patients,

Due to the escalation of the CoViD-19 viral outbreak and subsequent government restrictions, we are taking steps to help reduce the spread of the coronavirus.  Your safety, and that of our team, is paramount and we would like to thank you for your understanding at this time.

With immediate effect, we are closing the practice to ALL routine treatments and are now operating a triage system for telephone advice and limited emergency appointments only.

PLEASE DO NOT TURN UP AT THE PRACTICE WITHOUT A CONFIRMED APPOINTMENT.

PLEASE TELEPHONE THE PRACTICE FIRST IF YOU HAVE A SEVERE DENTAL EMERGENCY.

THE WAITING ROOM IS CLOSED AND YOU WILL BE ASKED TO WAIT OUTSIDE THE PRACTICE UNTIL YOU ARE CALLED.

YOU SHOULD KEEP AT LEAST 2 METRES AWAY FROM OTHERS WHILST YOU WAIT.

If you require assistance out of hours, please call 111 and follow the advice given.

We hope to resume normal service as soon as it is deemed safe to do so.  Until then, we will continue to follow official guidance and wish for all our patients to stay safe and healthy.

Kindest regards,

Glenfield Dental Team
